Anna Daneri

Curator

Anna Daneri is an independent curator presently working with Lorenzo Giusti at GAMeC – Bergamo for Nothing is lost. Art and matter in transformation, opening in October 2021, and on the travelling exhibition Claire Fontaine.Your Money and Your Life (Palazzo Ducale, Genoa / Galerias Municipais, Lisbon, 2019-2020). She was one of the founders of Peep-Hole, Milan (2009-2016).

Since 2013 she has been responsible of Meru Art*Science Research Program. She was curator with Carlo Antonelli of the winning project for 2018-2019 program of Villa Croce Museum in Genoa. She curated both solo and group shows by: Giovanni De Lazzari (Fondazione Pini, Milan, 2019-2020), Renata Boero (Museo del Novecento, Milan, 2019); Stefano Arienti (Villa Croce, Genoa 2017), Dora Garcìa (Spanish Pavilion, 54. Venice Biennale, 2011); Joan Jonas (Galleria Civica, Trento, 2007).

She worked on research projects dealing with feminism, logistics, longevity, cinema and migration as collective work Eufemia. The submerged and the saved (Genova, Nice, Ventimiglia), among others. She was Production Manager of They Come to Us without a Word by Joan Jonas for the US Pavilion at 56. Venice Biennale, travelling in 2016 to 2016 to NTU CCA Singapore and in 2019 to Fort Mason Center, San Francisco NTU CCA Singapore and in 2019 to Fort Mason Center, San Francisco.

She is member of the funding board of Forum dell’arte contemporanea italiana. Since 2020 she is part of the board of Torino Social Impact Art Award and of the Committee Archivio Atelier Pharaildis Van Den Broeck.
