Emanuela Zampa was born in Genoa, from a family of photographers and opticians, from whom she learns the basics and technique. After long years as a seafarer, she deepens her knowledge of the photographic medium in Rome, at the ISFCI (Institute of photography and communication). In 2017, impelled by what she could see at the italian-french border, she started a photographic long project about it, which lead to a certain militancy and the publication of some articles and to the realization of expositions and installations.
