Ervis Martani is post-doctoral fellow at Università di Genova, Italy, and Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS), Canada. Since 2012, he holds a PhD on “Democracy and Human Rights” from the University of Genoa, awarded by the Albanian Ministry of Education and Science with the Excellence Fund. From May 2016 to September 2019, he was the chair holder of the UNESCO Chair in “Multiculturalism, Intercultural Dialogue and Human Rights in the Balkans” at Marin Barleti University in Albania. He was also invited as a guest lecturer on Human Rights at Aleksander Moisiu State University. Ervis Martani’s research works mostly focus on refugee integration issues, intercultural dialogue, human rights and minority rights.
